It's hard to explain. The main protagonist is a teenage boy named Araragi who encounters an injured vampire and saves her and he is temporarily changed into a vampire (as told by the Kuzomonogatari arc). But he never goes back to being fully human. He is helped by a man who is a specialist and together they help others, often who are possessed by demon creatures. http://myanimelist.net/anime/5081/Bakemonogatari

I like the one about the girl who didn't notice we have an anime board on this site... let alone that this topic has been made countless times already.
