So, been single for 5 years now..

Honestly, I'm pretty much a very shy guy, and I don't ask any women out anymore, because honestly, I'm very self-concious lol. Tried asking a girl I work with to hangout, but she keeps blowing me off, so I gave up on that lol. Eh the hair shouldn't be an issue. I got the long hair. Only thing I find that will make them run faster than space travel is if it isn't clean. Let's see since we are all saying I believe I'm on a four year alone streak. Sometimes I enjoy it and sometimes it is sadening. Life is interesting.

You look fine to me I doubt it's the appearance unless it's against that specific girl's preference. One girl could be totally 100% attracted to a guy and then another girl have absolutely no interest in him. Not to imply you do but don't think you always need to mold yourself or fix yourself because of one girl unless maybe she makes actual valid critiques worth noting. It's a tricky balance I mean sometimes you should listen to people and just hear them out and other times take what they say with a grain of salt. If you keep getting blown off by that particular girl (regardless of the reason whether she is justified or not) it's best to not keep trying. There's nothing less fun than chasing after someone, really. As for advice on getting a date? It's kinda tricky because people seem simple..and are simple sometimes to where you just think everything is easy as long as you know the right formula. But these things just...aren't always consistent. Everyone is just simple and complicated all at the same time. I always found rather than hunting specifically for a date, just make friends. Not specifically with girls but with anyone. And if you make female friends don't try and make moves too early. Just kinda be friends for a while. And grow as friends. And it's possible that maybe it can grow into something more. That's just my opinion though.

I would say participate in activities that you like and maybe you find somebody that also like the same things as you, like guitar lessons or a play where people like playing guitar. I'd say if you want to go find somebody, the best way to do it...well is to go find somebody. It will take many trips and falls, but you'll eventually get there. :)

How very interesting to hear you insult/critique/or call someone a "fuck boy", Daredevil. Should I show everyone the first message you ever sent me? I highly highly hiiiiiiiiiiiighly doubt you would. Because we BOTH know how a lot of people would feel about it AND you. (I mean you can try and defend it like you did in PM but I'm pretty sure most girls would have 17 red flags go off) DemonDominator is a saint compared to you. Or maybe he isn't. Either way. O.O going on about 8 years myself. Confidence probably is an issue. Personally I wouldn't sweat it. If you find a girl you like. Ask her out. If she says no *shrug* moving on. I know as a new year goes by it sucks...but only thing you can do is get out there. Either that...or go do speed dating. (That thing is craaaazy)

Advice? First, don't be so self-conscious. No one is perfect, so don't worry so much about how you look. Second, you need to be more confident in yourself. Girls love guys who are sure of themselves. Also, remember to be a gentlemen. And lastly, and you might already know this, but make sure to be clean and smell nice before you even approach a girl (or anyone for that matter).
