@Dagger, I really think that the "pansexual" tag (along with many others) isn't really necessary and just caters to the special snowflake syndrome. Everyone is slightly different on how they would describe their gender and sexual/romantic attraction. You don't need 120 sub-types of obscure definitions that only .001% of the population knows just to show how unique you are. It's easier to just say "I like this" "I don't like that". Getting back to Pansexual though, it assumes that bisexual is somehow exclusive just because it uses the prefix "bi" suggesting only 2. I see it more as those 2 are the cultural representation of 2 extremes on the gender spectrum scale where there are essentially an infinite number of shades between the 2 that most people would fall under and bisexuality just covers the entire gender spectrum and anything in between. Sure, some people wouldn't date certain gender sub-types but still describe themselves as "bisexual" But again, everyone is slightly different. There are Waaay too many sub-type gender/sexuality terms being used these days it's just getting ridiculous. Pansexual is probably the trendiest term used these days. Even Miley Cyrus "came out" recently as being pansexual. It's not "cool" to be just straight, gay or bi anymore.
