Does anyone else play this game for the PC? And more importantly, does anyone want to rob a bank with me :3

I have a very... mixed opinion of the game as a whole. I mean, it's addictive for me, but it's definitely a love or hate kind of game. It can seem especially overwhelming towards the beginning as there are many gameplay mechanics to learn, and the game isn't exactly generous towards new players when it comes to guns and perks. Early on, expect to fail stealth sections frequently and spend most of your time fighting the cops. Once you have an idea of what you wanna do with your character, the game becomes immensely more enjoyable, and your options really start to open up. I really like that you can approach missions in radically different ways; you can rush banks with a tech enforcer, blowing throw vaults with C4 and quickly making off with the money, or can play as a ghost, silently sneaking in through lock picking and hacking without alerting anyone. Teamwork is crucial though, as most jobs require a little something from every class.
The game does have a good pre-planning system as well, allowing you add tools to the maps to make your job easier. It's the kind of game that's best played with friends you know rather than random people online. I've mostly played the game with friends, so I learned the mechanics in an environment where no one cares whether the mission fails or not. Playing with random people online can be frustrating though, especially when there's little communication. The higher difficulties practically demand good teamwork, and you won't get much of that online unless you're lucky.
The biggest drawback for me is the game's obsession about selling you DLC. You just can't escape it. Even at the end of missions, you may be "rewarded" new safes that require you to buy DLC to use. It's just silly :/

I see. Thanks for the detailed review of the game. Really helpful :). And yeah the dlc situation is a bit annoying :P

Did you see that it's currently free-to-play for the week on Steam? I'd definitely say give it a spin if you're interested, and see what you think.
