For guys! Do you think porn ruins your expectations when it comes to sex

@Neko Whether or not she wants to watch porn is her choice. I won't lie that it bugs me a little that she's so quick to judge people who do but hey, it's her call to feel how she feels.

Some comments here disgust me because no one can't ever expect to show some sweet-easy to take side of something they don't like. If they don't fucking like it it's because there is no 'sweet' side to them in their sight. Just sayin' some people won't ever like the things you do no matter how much you like them. It's called personal opinion, so take it as that. Tho, it's true neither should judge the likes of others.

@mariahaise, we just don't want someone to judge all of something based on false pretenses or bad past experience. If you only ate tacos a few times at Taco Bell and said that tacos are disgusting, that would be judging all tacos based on one type and would be false pretense, thinking that all tacos are like that. Sure it's possible you may not like any tacos from anywhere but don't judge all tacos based on Taco Bell. Same concept with "porn". Porn is just people having sex and sex can be expressed in any way, it's not sex itself that is disgusting (though some probably think so) but how you use it that makes it so.

@azu 90% of what comes up when you go to popular porn sites. Maybe 95%. @vamp I never felt the need to integrate it into my life so I won't. How "female friendly" it is doesn't make a difference. As good as your points may be and even if porn like that exists the statistics of what type of pornography is sought after the most online speak a very different language. Sheesh, guys, watch your porn all you want. I have dealt my fair share with it and was willing to give it a chance but I'm done with it. Playboy and vintage erotica doesn't bother me at all, nor does porn that is respectful to both parties... but that's not what you'll find when you type porn into Google and also not what I was referring to. And whether or not I judge you shouldn't really bother you. It won't have any negative effects on you. EDIT: What is and is not respectful is subjective to each person. So some of what I classify as disgusting might be perfectly fine to you.

It doesn't, I just like informed opinions. And it did seem like you were willing to slap a label on the whole of porn and it's viewers thoughtlessly. Making broad generalizations. Didn't seem like the kind of thing you'd normally do. As for the 90% thing, refer to my comment about modern music. The most well known does not necessarily represent the whole or even the majority.

Ah, well sure, the tendencies are to push the (moral) boundaries of porn to the limits. Since we are supposed to restrain or even suppress our sexual desires in public and with others as a matter of politeness and decency, porn is used as a rebellious outlet. So the more extreme the porn is, the more popular it tends to be. Also since anything "forbidden" tends to be more titillating, it is also more popular. Which is why illegal pornography is so popular. The inability of people in modern society to deal with sexuality in a healthy way leads to various sexual neurosis including porn addiction.

Doesn't make it a bit better in my eyes. Sorry. And azu, I did probably dig too deep. So by now I'm just repulsed by the whole industry of Internet porn. I prefer to avoid it as a whole.
