Any Dutch/German people?

sanfi
I'm new here and I was wondering how many people on this website are from the Netherlands or close to the border. Most of my friends from my university are German and go home after school or in the weekend, so there's not much time to really interact with them after school. Also, only a few of them actually watch anime or play games

Not suprising... You have to have extremely good grades to be accepted to a German university to study psychology. Same with medicine and a couple other fields.. it's getting worse by the semester. I have two friends who study in the Netherlands for that reason. I live in Germany btw. But not anywhere close to the border to NL.

Well, maybe I know some of your friends, because most German students study either in Enschede or in de Randstad. Granted, I do not live at two places simultaneously, but about 65% of the students in my class are German

There are so many that I've actually started picking up German again a little bit. I met my first serious girlfriend during my first year. She's German and thanks to her I finally learned to appreciate the language

My actual girlfriend is chinese and I didn´t pick up anything ;D I only know a few words. We only speak in german though. She only talks chinese when she calls her parents and speaks with a few friends of her. :D

I've had German for six years on my highschool. I never put that much effort in it and for some reason Dutch people sometimes seem to think German and Dutch is almost the same, but my ex-girlfriend had to practice her Dutch. Every time she spoke Dutch to me on Whatsapp I replied in German
