Code Word (Working Title)

This is just an exert from a comic me and a friend are currently in the process of making. It needs revising, the pacing is a bit rushed as well. And more detail could be added in, but as I said, its also being turned into a comic, and my partner has a pretty good idea of what to draw for it.
Here it is:
Alex steps through the broken doors of an old cathedral on the west side of town. The air stale with the scent of fresh blood.
“One little finger, two little fingers and three. Oh how I love the taste of these succulent morsels.” A voice murmurs in the darkness.
“Alex, enter Code: Blue. This guy is our target. He reads at 1,000 on the DF chart.” Celia ‘s voice rings through Alex’s earpiece.
“This should go fine. I don’t even think-“ Alex says, being interrupted by a blade whizzing past his face leaving a small cut on his right cheek.
“Looks like I have a new play-toy brother!” The man yells. Seemingly to himself.
“But brother… he looks tough. Oh do be careful will you?” The man says in a new voice, showing concern.
“It will be fine brother! After all, I have you, and you have me, and together we can never die! Hahahahaha!” The man laughs to himself.
“Oh brother, where are your manners? Sir, before you die, I believe we should exchange names. I… am Marcus Fillix, and this is my brother Donavon Fillix.” Marcus speaks to Alex motioning to himself.
“You are also named Dr. Jack and Mr. Hyde… and now I can see why. But your name doesn’t matter. Because I’m being paid to spill your blood. And that, is exactly what I will do.” Alex says calmly as he wipes the blood from his cheek.
“Oh, you hear that brother. He wishes to spill our blood. Oh I wish to tear him limb from limb and feast on his entrails. Maybe make a stew out of him!” Donavon yells to ‘Marcus’.
“Oh if you must, but please be civilized about it.” Marcus says.
Marcus and Donavon step forward. Light pouring in from the ceiling lands upon him revealing a torn up man. His face stitched together, like Frankenstein’s Monster. Tattered robes drape across the ground as he hunches over. He drags a large sword across the ground sparks flying up all around.
“You better get this guy first, if he gets the drop on you… There is no telling as to what can happen.” Ciela commands Alex.
“Fine… I get it. Just get the job done.” Alex says, slightly irritated.
Alex smirks and then disappears in a flash of light. He then reappears in front of Donavon with his arm pulled back. He then thrusts his fist forward into the face of Donavon. Donavon’s body flies back slamming into the wall. The wall crumbles from the impact, covering Donavon’s body.
“Over already? That wasn’t even a good warm-up.” Alex speaks with a cocky attitude.
Alex turns to walk away as he hears the sound of a large object ring loose through the air. He instinctively slides forward onto the ground as Donavon’s sword barely flies overhead.
“No fun he says, not a good “warm-up”? He said to us!” Donavon says. The right side of his face in a frown and the left with a scrunched up look.
“Your face, is really wierding me out.” Alex says nonchalantly.
Alex steps toward Donavon. Donavon smiles looking toward Alex. Alex looks at Donavon’s arm and notices stitching across his wrists. The stitches become undone and blood begins to pour out.
“Uh, buddy, you happen to be… bleeding… and all over the place.”
Donavon laughs manically as the blood takes shape and solidifies in his hands. Blades form as he wraps his fingers around the blood.
“Now THAT, is a neat trick. You should definitely teach me that.” He says partly shocked. “Hey Ciela… this guy is not human… the intel was wrong. He seems to be a Genetimorph.” Alex speaks into his microphone.
“The order still stands.” Ciela answers back.
“So… the order is still to kill this guy? I guess we need to pay the bills.” Alex says with a smirk on his face.
“Well… to avoid any further annoyances. Code: Red” Ciela orders to Alex
“Babe, you really know how to get me worked up!” Alex Yells.
Alex’s body wraps in static electricity. His eyes turn electric blue. Alex steps forward and the air crackles around him. Cracks form in the ground and Alex just smirks. Donavon stares at Alex.
“What are you doing?! STOP IT!” Donavon yells and throws blades at Alex, fear in his eyes.
Alex disappears as the blades fly through his after-image. Alex appears behind Donavon.
“It’s over you piece of shit!” Alex yells, furious.
Alex grabs Donavon and slams him into the ground. His bones cracking as blood pours out through his eyes. Alex picks him up and throws him into the wall.
“You wanted to kill people?! Then I’ll fucking kill you!” Alex yells and appears next to Donavon’s body.
Alex slams his foot down into Donavon’s head crushing it into the ground. Donavon’s stitching comes undone as his head unravels.
“Code: White. Now you can calm down.” Ciela says with a sigh of relief.
“Thanks… I could use a beer now, you know, since the job is done and we can be paid.” Alex says and laughs.
“You know, you didn’t have to be so rough.” Ciela argues.
“Wait, so now you care for this guy?!”
“No… but they need to be able to identify him in order for us to get paid. So you may not even get your beer now.”
Alex looks back at Donovan’s twisted and mangled body. He sighs.
“Geez... I didn’t even think about it. I was just so angry I didn’t even care.” Alex remarks, irritation in his voice.
Alex pulls out a small device. And swipes his fingers across the screen. With each swipe, a different face shows.
“Well, all we can do now is turn in his remains and hope for the best I guess. Damn it.” Alex remarks and shoves the device into his pocket.
The blood from Donovan’s body begins to stream off away from his apparently dead corpse. Whisking and winding through the debris. When the blood is only mere feet from where Alex stands, it stops and begins to pool. The blood begins to solidify and then shoots towards Alex.
Alex turns in time to dodge. The blood barely missing, only leaving cuts across his face and stomach.
“What the hell!?” Alex yells.
“What’s wrong?! Alex tell me!” Ciela yells back into the microphone.
“Dipshit’s blood just started to attack me out of nowhere!”
Alex continues to dodge as the blood shoots toward him. Barely dodging each bit. The blood splatters against the wall becoming inanimate with each attack.
“It seems a hell of a lot like his blood has a mind of its own.”
“You realize how crazy that sounds right?”
Alex ducks behind a large piece of debris.
“Well, it seems as if when they hit, they can’t go anywhere else and just stop. But I have no idea why its happening, the bastard is dead after all!”
“Well, I’m going to send in-“
“Hell no! I do not want to hear about this from him later!” Alex yells into the microphone.
“He can clean this up fast…” Ciela tries to convince Alex.
“I really don’t agree with this, you know I hate working with him.” Alex says begrudgingly. “But, I guess if you really think we should. Then I have no choice in the matter.”
“Did I hear that you need my help bro?” A snide voice comes over the voice comms.
“Need… no, at least I don’t think so. But apparently others think you’re needed here. So why don’t you do the job, and then bugger off you piece of shit.” Alex says, cringing his teeth. Fists balled.
“That’s no way to talk to your little brother Alex. After I came all the way from across town to help you.” The voice rings back with a fake pout.
Air becomes more saturated. The water molecules form into droplets around Alex and the bleeding corpse. The droplets become thicker until it all comes together into a ball of water above the Alex’s vicinity.
“For one, if you came from across town, you wouldn’t be here already. So you were following me. Plus, I could see you as I entered the structure from across the damn street!” Alex yells in the comms at the other voice.
Alex notices the shadow below him. And then averts his eyes to the sky, to see the giant bubble of water above him.
“Artorian!” Alex yells as the bubble bursts, water flooding the area.
The once sentient blood washes away into the ground.
“Oh, I’m sorry bro, did I get you all wet? I mean, it seemed like you needed to chill out a bit. Hope it helps.” Artorian says, laughing maniacally. “It looks like you’re all washed up though!”
