I'm almost done with Anne Rice's Beauty series of novels, and my goodness, that's some strong stuff. Very graphic - perhaps too much.

Ooooooh, it's not violent...well, actually it would depend on your point of view, but it's not graphic in the violent/bloody sense.

Lovecraft. This time in English... He's the God of modern horror literature. Though definitively not everyone's cup of tea.. And "Song of Ice and Fire" on and off as it's being published.
