What personality/traits do you value in a person or partner?

What things do you search for when looking for good reliable friends or a partner. For Example: Friends: I like friends who are useful, faithful, amusing, and intelligent, I'd like to help them out whenever possible as well. Partner: I like a person who is either quiet, intelligent, and adorable, or a person who is the polar opposite of me, which would be extremely extroverted.

I like people that will talk to me and also listen to what I say because most people are just waiting for their turn to talk not really listening. Friends: I like friends who are fun to be with, I like funny people, and I like people that are trustworthy. I would like a partner that is like a friend but also able to share what they are thinking and be themselves in front of me if not anyone else

Honesty above all. If a person can be honest about their feelings then you can truly build a relationship.
