Hello

I'm physically incapable of finishing a King novel but I have yet to try the Dark Tower series even though half a dozen people tell me I would love it.

Hahaha, look who decides to join us! I've read a handful of his books, they can be hit or miss at times, I will admit. But the dark tower series is so unique!

His books are so long because he takes forever to get to the plot or hook. I've put down the Stand, Insomnia, and after those 2 tried a smaller one, Salem's Lot. Quit reading all 3.... A lot of people compare him to Dean Koontz or describe Koontz as a poor man's King -lol I can't tell you how many Kootz books I've read, finished, and loved.

Hahaha, smh... I think this is a taste thing. I like his writing style a lot. I haven't read too many of his horror books, so I don't know how they would be are. And I haven't read any Koontz - I have Frankenstein on my shelf collecting dust kow...
