How to get more people to chat with you on here?

That's the thing you are doing wrong... You don't talk to them here, you talk to them in real life if you are really serious...

It's really as simple as just talking to people. I mostly talk to people in PM since I prefer that more compared to public comments and forums and eventually we start talking on places like Facebook and Skype. If I think someone's interesting and I want to talk to them - I do my usual greeting and if they reply then I'll go from there and if not, then I'll take the hint and figure they're not interested in talking. Of course, if you're looking to be popular on the site where a ton of people will talk to you then just like Sunflower, Arc and Neko Panda-kun, talk to people on the forums and just have a load of fun there.
