It's simple. You get the two people you're setting up to meet at where ever their supposed to meet at an agreed time. There's some other stuff too, but that's basically it. I'm assuming for online you just do the same thing, but link them to a private chatroom instead.

Isn't getting a date from online and then arranging an in person meeting the same thing? Been there, done that and still going strong 6 months later. Dating sites are exactly that. You don't know the person(even if you've been talking online, people are different in person)and the end goal is to see if you click in person.
