It isn't too hard to not talk about it. Some people know that I watch it a tad, but it's like, I don't go flaunting it around. Not my style.

I don't really hide it. I wear my anime shirts to school so I guess yea I am proud of being an otaku. My dad is supportive of me since he is too an otaku and his family thinks its cool that I'm like my dad. But, my mom doesn't like the idea of me loving anime. She thinks its bad for me and wants me to stop but I ignore her and keep watching anime and reading manga cx

Hide it, why? Is it such a shame to enjoy quality programs?

I don't go out of my way to hide it, I don't go out and tell people either. The only person I talk to about anime in real life to on semi-regular occasions is my brother. I occasionally tell him about anime he may find interesting (he doesn't really watch anime).

I get weird enough looks perusing the manga aisles at Powell's. So I just don't bring it up. Though I don't mind telling people if they ask.
