yeah i do have an severe autistic type disorder, and, NO - jokes about autism r NOT cool..at all...

;) heyy i just saw another thread about this typee of subject c; i thought maybe ppl would like to hear from some1 that has the commonly insulted thing... nahhhh, insults about autism dont bother me personally becuzzz idc what foolish ppl say about me at all, but, it bothers a lot of ppl & i understand y... about 98% of the ppl on here r SUPER cool, but, theres a small percent of trolls & jerks & bullies on here haaha every type of group/subculture has them. but yaaaa, plz dont make jokes about autism or any type of disability.. the joke wont bother some ppl, BUT, u never ever know if it will offend some1 or not. its a form of bullying at the end of the day. think of how much stuff that some1 with autism has to deal with, :)) do u rllly wanna add to THAT???? or make fun of that????? or make some1 cry for being who they r????????? i did not speak or write or talk till i was about 15 yrs old, i had lots on my plate - lots of ppl with the type of thing that i have, have LOTS to deal with...... cut them a break. im new here, brand new.. ive already seen some autism jokes fly.... but yaa :)) again haahaha most of the ppl here r cool nothing wrong with having autism.. it just means that ur brain is wired differently than a lot of ppl. be proud of who u r. <3333 i know that i luv who i am :)))) thank u to all of the ppl that speak up against the blind hate, keeep on being awesome !! one love and, the person u making the joke about may not even have autism. dont assume stuff about ppl plzzz.... c; c; c; c; c; C; i know lots of ppl that make jokes about autism r trying to be jerks, but..lot of ppl make the jokes not even meaning to offend any1, just trying to be funny. still, plzz dont say the jokes even if ur not meaning to hurt any1 <333 some ppl will not like the joke/insult well thats what i had to say, take care every1 <3333 ty for reading

Thanks for taking the time to post this! I think it's very important for our community to be aware that throwing 'autism / autistic' around as an insult is hurtful and not a right thing to do.

Why shouldnt whe joke about such things?Cause people will be offend it or triggerd fuck that.Jokes are all about perspective some people will find a joke funny some will find it silly some will rage .You can a make a joke about anything muslims christians atheists etc their will always sombody that is offend it .I agree to some extend though.If a joke is only to bully or pick on a person and make them feel like shit yeah thats not really a joke anymore for me atleast :) .

I think autism jokes are fine as long as they aren't directed at a specific person or meant to hurt someone. Even if they are directed at someone, i don't necessarily agree with it but refer to the post above mine. Life is life cant stop people so no point in throwing a hissy fit, just ignore it.
