Arc-kun, it's better than referring to someone as simply an article... weird.
Thing about fights is, I love sparring. My closest friends are all people I've sparred with. But a real fight there's no learning, understanding or communication at all. It's rather disappointing.

This one time, at band camp, me and Dr. Light had a real brouhaha. All I said to him was that I wanted to adopt Roll after he died... he hates the idea of ME, Dr. "Evil" Wily being the godfather of his kids. SCREW YOU DR. LIGHT! PROTO MAN IS MINE!

Nope. Not once. That's why my nose is a little crooked. But that's what happens when you get pistol whipped in the face ^^

I had a gang of bullies that would pick on me as my parents decided to roll a nerd in grade school. I eventually got pissed and beat down on the ring leader and people left me alone mostly. I got literally knifed for my lunch money by a Jr. High School kid when I was in the 6th grade. After the ER visit my parents freaked and put me in Kempo which is Karate but focused on you being unarmed and attacked by someone with a weapon; clubs, knives, guns, etc. Other than sparring or a couple party/bar brawls (friendly and not) I learned how to be more aware and avoid trouble fairly well. You can control the violence you send out into the world but you can't always control what comes your way. If the fight comes to me and there is no other choice I will end as quickly and decisively as possible. Never allow harm to be placed upon yourself without a fight.

I wouldn't call it a real fight, more a scrum. Some douchebag in my high school was pretty adept on picking on less popular kids and I was no exception. Our halls were kinda small so when people would brush up against each other when walking in opposite directions, they'd brush up against each other shoulder to shoulder a bit sometimes. The people he didn't like he'd forcefully push his shoulder against there's either knocking them off balance or into other people behind them.
He'd done this to me a couple times prior and I saw him coming towards me and I had a feeling he was going to try and shoulder push me again so I beat him to the punch and did it back to him. He didn't take to kindly to this and after I walked past him and got to my locker, he grabbed the back of my head and shoved me head first right into my locker I was attempting to open at the time. Fortunately I have a hard head and our lockers were aluminum (kinda like wrestlers getting hit on the head with chairs) so it didn't hurt too much.
Basically I turned around told him WTF man and pushed him back and it eventually lead to a shoving match and a scrum on the floor and being pulled apart by teachers. If any punches were thrown they weren't very effective since we were on the floor with kids around us trying to get to class. It lasted all of 10 seconds before a couple of faculty members pulled us apart and sent us to the office. We got off with a warning, but I will say he never did the shoulder push to me the rest of the year. Guy was a fucking prick and I haven't seen him since I gradated in '98.
I will say, while I'd never personally condone or do it myself, I can at least somewhat empathize with kids who get bullied to the point of bringing a weapon to school. When you get picked on a nearly daily basis by the same douchbag(s) over and over again to the point of fear, and your teachers and principal won't do anything about it because they tell you to suck it up and deal with it or they don't believe it's as bad as you claim, you'll do almost anything to make them stop and to protect yourself. Which to me, is endemic of a greater problem of kids growing up in poor home situations and turn into entitled little shitheads and feel they can bully other kids with no repercussions.
