You can have countless senpai, but the usage of the term seems to differ a fair bit on this site compared to it's actual meaning. A senpai is basically an upperclassman, pretty much anyone in a grade above you. On this site however people seem to use it as a meme and from what I can tell is used for indicating someone that a person here as a crush on or admires. Strictly speaking in that usage or the term I'd say it's probably best not to have too many crushes, don't wanna come across as being easy after all. It's good though to keep your options open so if you get rejected you can move on more easily. I'd also say that if you have a crush on more than four or five people at the same time, those feelings probably aren't all that genuine..

A senpai is more of an infactuaction rather than an actual crush.

Wrong thread. This is not site news, nor a suggestion. Pay attention next time...

You're risking getting banned, temp or otherwise, by your ignorance. Just saying.

Yeah it's like NEET said. It's not really supposed to be used as a term of endearment, like how it's used here. It's just supposed to be used out of respect for people who have more experience in school, sports clubs, the workplace, or any other informal or formal organizations. If you get a new part-time job or something, you can have someone younger than you be your senpai simply because he's been there longer than you have. The same shit happens with Korean too. Oppa is what a girl calls an older brother in Korea, but Western fan of KPOP or Korean dramas seem to think it's what you call your boyfriend. It's wack and you aren't even supposed to use it if you don't know each other (which is different from the senpai-kohai relationship). You can't just walk up to a dude and call him oppa, he'd be really weirded out. If you become good friends, though, and he is indeed older than you, he might let you. IMO most Korean men would rather just be called their name when talking with Westerners though. So, in reality, you can have quite a lot of senpai in your life. In the context of this thread though, and in the way the word is used on this site, idk, its like asking us if you can have 40 boyfriends or something.
