From what I've know is that the community is milking the FNAF series similar to Slender man's Game.
Too Much Fan made Game of FNAF or Slender is getting other people annoyed.
This is what I know as far as I See it.

While it's being milked, yeah, it is telling a deep story, thus why the games keep coming out.

I would bet these same haters are CoD or Halo fans though...they're definitely not milking series or anything...

That is true. The First game was Golden (no pun intended) on the horror department because the only scary part of the game was not the animatronics to catch you, its the people anticipation not to get caught as the night passes time til 6am.
