When someone says "I'll wait for you"

Not too long ago i was recently asked out by a friend of mine. Im not sure what triggered her feelings for me cause i feel like i havent done anything for her to like me, she says its the way i treat her. My nice personality and the way i look out for her (which i do for all my friends) but she feels some kind of connection to me. Thing is i have a girlfriend we have been going out for a while now. She says she is going to wait for me cause apparently she really loves me and she seems pretty serious saying how she cant live without me. What do i do? I mean obviously i cant have her wait on me thats crazy, there isnt even a guarantee me and my gf will break up. Even if we do it could be years who knows. Does anyone have advice for this?

I think time will solve this issue on it's own, but you need to explain to her that you and your current girlfriend are serious. There's nice ways of handling stuff like this but they usually aren't effective. You should just be straightforward and not beat around the bush.

It would be best to leave it up to time then. You could try not talking to her as often, I wouldn't stop talking in general. But if you don't talk to her as often it might open up doors for her to meet other people.

Yeah...i would feel bad if i didnt talk to her though like im one of nicest friends she has...everyone where she lives bullies her

Panda-kun, I know this is probably the meanest course of action but I would let her be. Of course I would keep talking to her but if I have someone I love and cherish already I am not going to care what other people feel towards me. It's their problem if they don't want to listen either... wait for time to solve it.
