Male On Male Sexual Assault

darkhorse
If a guy keeps asking a guy to do something sexual, and the man feels pressured to and says yes because he is scared, they go off alone and the man touches the guy but the other person feels scared, and the man says "Don't tell anyone this", was that man sexually assaulted?

Yes. Is this a real question?

Well, I've had to go through a PSA for my college that all students need to do about Sexual Assault and they talked about what society thinks about Rape. But as I was reading all the material, they talked about Male-On-Male rape. And it brought back memories I buried for awhile. Just wanted another person's perspective on the issue, because it seems people don't think an adult male can be raped.

Yes, we know that. But many people think men only get raped in prison

Yup. Definitely. It sucks that our society has really strong preconceptions about genders. I've found that teenagers, especially, have no idea about what is considered 'sexual assault' or 'rape'. People in my school were seriously surprised when they found out that by law, having sex with someone who is terribly drunk is wrong. Apparently they thought it was fine to do.

I thought this had to do with a guy dropping a soap in the shower room...

It is a topic that does not get much attention due to sexism. 'What kind of man lets himself be raped?' some say 'Is that even possible some academics say'(morons). Prison rape is finally getting a little attention as it dwarfs the cases of rape outside of prison for men. Last DOJ stats I saw was like 215K men raped in prison vs 90K on the outside in the same year(2008 and 2011 were the last studies?). And that is just what is reported and investigated. Men are less likely to report such things out of shame or fear of their attacker. Not to say there are not women rape victims who stay in painful silence too but they at least have many resources, advocates, and support that men do not. darkhorse I am pretty sure there is sufficient legal precedent for coercion being a qualifying tool of force in rape cases. It likely varies by state/country.

Women can rape men too, though men are vastly more likely to be the rapist (of men or women or trans). Every woman (or girl) should always be cautious about the consumption of alcohol around men, even if you know them. Drunk rape is so common it's almost cliche. Even worse on college campus, but also younger girls get carried away with drinking more easily because of lack of experience and guys know it which is one of the main reasons guys are always pushing drinks on girls at parties. Pass out drunk at a party with a bunch of guys and you have a very high probability of getting molested or raped.
