Have you ever gone to a con in hopes of meeting someone?

rgrotty
Nope, didn't seem to work from what I saw.

Then you got scam pretty much. How is the girls in there? Did you talk to them and how is their reaction?
cielle
You don't pay any money to go in the speed dating, so it's not really a scam other than waiting around. I participated in my very first speed dating the past PMX con, but it was different because it was "ladies' choice." Pretty much, girls get to choose who they want to talk to. I wasn't looking for a relationship, but it was just super fun talking to a lot of them. Most girls who participate in these speed dates are not looking for a relationship, but I know the girl next to me was really digging a few guys and kept calling them back for a chat.

What's up celle look cute as ever. But sorry to say this to a cute girl like you. Most of the speed dating need to pay and I don't think is free beyond honest. We learn that from school or from experience, "there is no such a free meal." Usually any kind of date are ladies such as you little cute one. Men lose their power in a relationship. What I'm trying to say is that men do not have a right to say no to their gf which a little bit dumb but if men wanted to keep a relationship has to give in. I'm pretty much know Cielle like going to speed date even though you said you don't like it. There is no way why girls don't want a relationship. Can I ask why you participate these speed dating if you had no intention of dating?
cielle
I meant money-wise, it's free. On a philosophical level that you described, I guess it is a scam lol. Because talking to people is fun, and I mostly called on the cosplayers so I can talk to them about cosplay. And I have no intention of dating other people, because I'm already interested in a guy.

I've been to a couple of speed-dating events at cons. From my experience it's very worth it, but not necessarily for the reasons you may think. It's very unlikely you will walk out from one hand-in-hand with the woman of your dreams, but Like Cielle said it's a fun social place where you can meet a lot of like minded people. I personally met 2 great friends about 3 years ago, 1 guy and 1 girl, who I go to cons with to this day.

Nope, but I do make confreinds. Like the con today I made new friends. It just happens. I have no thought or plans of meeting anyone new.
