the authors of an anime flesh out an entire world, create a bunch of different characters, gives them life and makes a whole world based off a certain idea. But when the anime ends i feel like it dies (no not like literally die because you can always just come back and watch it whenever) but like that whole world dies...thats pretty much it the characters stop going on adventures, stop hanging out, stop being friends the whole world just ends.
does anyone else feel this way? like do you agree when an anime ends it pretty much dies.

i don't have time to do this post justice, but i agree, whole-heartedly and probably with a little more passion than i have time to post
but, i feel like when we create something, we also give it soul
sure, the creator and animators have stopped making new material, but i believe, SOMEWHERE, the story continues on, it just does, and you can't convince me otherwise

i mean yeah sure fan fics and the like still kinda keep the story going but its not the same...you put so much time and effort into making a story but its not just a story your giving it life...its no different than having a kid i mean you made it and you watched over it but then after a while it just dies off and thats it. i mean for some they are probably like oh well my story became a hit but its much more than that the people watching it fall in love with characters watch them grow, go through tough times and suffer defeat you stick with them and you can grow a bond sort of and connect with the characters and the universe they are in and then after the last episode reaches its final seconds the world dies

This is why manga exist in the first place. The "anime" is just a cliffhanger for the people to read the manga. ^u^

But depending on the ending the story will continue in your mind and your creativity. ^u^ (Though that's how fanfics were born. XD )

The worst feeling is when a anime stops with no real ending. Like Hunter x hunter or Hitman reborn. When I just love a show and watch it for years (like bleach) and it just ends... I feel like I lost someone
precious to me... Because over the years I started to know the characters. you been with them all the way. And all of a sudden it ends...
