Neon Genesis Evangelion?

I find the Shinji is a pussy joke overkill to be honest, Shinji isn't meant to be the "badass" more along the lines of a person going through depression and other things. If you want anyone to be a badass that would go to Asuka

I mostly enjoyed it because of all the psychological sh*t going on and it made me sort of relate but also sort of relieved that my life wasn't that f*cked up. xD I loved how everything was in this 'sort-of' apocalyptic world yet humans could still enjoy creature comforts like vending machines and conbini stores. The remake animations were glorious but there were a lot of scenes where I was paying only half attention with all the explosions and fighting.

The series is ok. But the MC drives me nuts. GET IN THE DAMN ROBOT SHINJI

In my humble opinion Neon Genesis Evangelion is not only the best anime ever made, but the best piece of fiction and art made in all of history. you don't have to agree tho :^)
