the bible is very nuance as a catholic i choose to believe solely the new testament and ignore the old the new contradicts the old at every turn, so you can absolutely not believe in both

the old testament went into economics like what the cost of a slave should be new just said to worship god and be a good person so different as far as religious text go

my dude, im just memeing on the protestant thing catholics and protestants have a very long, and dark history, so i like to meme on them xD (my bf is one and i always say hes a heretic, but its all in good fun) i mean, your the one who said that the pope is our leader, so i just said "well he also contradicts the bible" thats all i mean, i also believe in aliens and bigfoot and a secret government thats like saying "your an idiot if you believe in aliens" no one knows, and thats why we use the term "faith" it means to believe in something purely based on belief and i think theres something very pure about that not sure what that image is about, idk thats a controversial opinion
