Yeah it was a pretty great show huh. It's probably the last thing I watched on PBS or probably Between the lions? And it was actually one of the math related educational shows that did a fairly decent job at teaching math to kids.

an interesting result of the pandemic lock down is that schools and child care are severely curtailed forcing parents to stay at home with their children. This may make many two income families one income families and cut down on materialism. We spend so much money on stuff because we can and then put ourselves in positions where two incomes are required. We wouldn't require the extra vehicles per household and would find that we could do with smaller houses. Wouldn't need to go out to eat or get take out or delivery (or be able to afford to) and do more of our own cooking, cleaning, etc. I'm not advocating a return to the fifties. Gender equality really started to take off when both parents worked outside of the home. Boomers like me were the last generation to experience the one income family and all that entailed and managed just fine. I'd love to live another twenty or thirty years and see what happens.
