GitS:SAC - Are the Limited Edition DVDs worth it?

Even though I've watched the first season, I have yet to actually purchase the series. With it was first released on DVD, there was a limited edition that included a second DVD of the same episodes but with a DTS audio track (the bonus features were removed to make room for the lossless audio). Other extrasa such as soundtrack CDs were also included. Is it worth paying the extra cash for these editions, or should I just buy the box set?
