Single, it's nice not having anyone to boss you around or to always worry about.
Only real down side is how mortgage rates/rent and other things these days are priced with two income couples in mind, which makes it really hard to afford living alone.

It depends.
I felt terrible in past traditional relationships because it felt so restricted, but in an open relationship I feel like I can do what I want. I hate being labeled as "taken" or whatever. I also feel a far deeper emotional bond with someone when we can communicate these kinds of things and accept it.
