Need to figure out a prince character

Okay, I am writing a twisted fairytale. The female hero is a princess who is let's just say very negative about the whole princess and prince idea. Well, she saves a prince who is off to try to save a princess who is behind a wall of thorns. This prince is going to be like the princess's stalker. He will be trying to get the princess to allow him to rescue her and will get on the princess nerves. Now I need some ideas on what he should be like. I got a base idea, but beyond that not much of a clue. No idea how he should talk, if he should be blunt or manipulative. Should he be smart or dumb, you know that kind of thing. ANy ideas?

I think the scariest stalkers would be the ones who act completely normal in regular conversation, but when they're interacting with their object of interest, they're still calm but eerily so and can say the creepiest things with a smile on their face. Since he's a prince... he should speak formally. He should be sharp, intelligent enough to fool the hero princess into thinking he's good while really he's planning on how to kidnap the other princess. Just some thoughts~
