What is the 1st anime you watched that turned you into an Otaku??

i watch ouran high school host club in grade 9 and never watched anything anime related for about 2 years and then i was told to watch death note and i was like nah i dont want to watch that, thats stupid its cartoons and then i became curious and watched it and i regret ever calling anime a stupid cartoon and i have not stopped watching anime for about 2 years now!!! i also have not fallen for anyone thats not animated... i need help... fastttt

Hi, all the first anime i ever watched was Dragon Ballz on TV. But i didnt really get into anime until i watched Your Lie in April. I dont know why i just made me want to watch more i was yelling at the screen because of the ending. Im a grown man yelling at the screen my roommate was thought i have gone mad. Then i Started to tear up. I just love this anime i been watching romance anime since. Its been a few months now lol (Snow White With Red Hair is bomb too)

I've watched anime from time to time while I was growin up, (aka my dad was an otaku) but one day in 6th grade I saw Clannad, and I absolutely fell in love with the culture, the art, the emotion, just everything about anime. From then on I started watching more and more and now I'm at the point where I can't find anime to watch unless I go on forums for explicit detail of what to watch, because I have to find the animes that aren't very heard of or aren't very popular because there is always a diamond in the rough =(o.O)=

Hello, My name is not too important but I think the first anime that turned me into an OTAKU and not just an anime fan may have been either Naruto or Inuyasha. I say either because I was watching both around the same time and I was madly in love with the stupid passion.
