What is the 1st anime you watched that turned you into an Otaku??

Hello, I'm Karsten (or Khadrian) and the first anime I watched was Inuyasha. A friend told me to watch it on tv when I was younger, around 10 maybe? but it wasn't until just before Kanketsu-hen (the Final Act) came out that I actually sat down and watched the whole thing. Once I finished that I ended up in that early spiral of looking for the next anime to watch.

Okay in all seriousness, I'm Freakpanda (FP for short) and I think the very first anime that I saw was Pokémon, but the anime that started my transformation to otaku was FMA (the original) I saw it on tv and fell in love with it. I think I was around 11-12 when I saw it but didn't watch any anime after that for a while. Fast forward few years forward and I found out that FMA was made again. Watched it and then started watching other anime as well nonstop :P It was glorious summer I tell ya
