Some for me would be wolf children, clannad, naruto, but one that really got me was the beginning of blue exorcist when Shiro was being possessed by satan and sacrifices himself so that he can save rin

Clannad Afterstory was really sad, but I'd have to say it's a tie between Angel Beats (because come on...that ending though) and Black Bullet (which I have not seen mentioned before which is strange, but to me it's super sad!)
