Please judge my art ^.^

Its looks pretty good, however given the angle in which you present the face the eye on the right is rather large so you might want to fix that.

ya it was my first time drawing something other than anime style so it was definitely a challenge

I think great for your first try drawing in a different style! :D Even, if some portions are off. It has really awesome details. ^u^ Good job! ;3 http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/write.ign.com/6390/2013/07/kyoko_thumbs_up.gif

As the others said, Porportions and asymetrical ballance are issues. I also feel that there needs to be more contrast in it, even if he IS suppose to be pale. The right (his left) side of the mouth is dragged out a bit and the eye on that side goes to cartoon eye. That other eye was created beautifully. Try to avoid creating outlines when doing realistic things. let blending shadows and light be the outlines. also, make sure the hair is a good blend of solid and thin lines. making it too solid or too stringy can make it look rush and incomplete. it also doesn't look completed. Maybe when it's done, it will be easier to give a full critisism on the picture. Honestly i think you are going in the right direction. :3 remember to rotate your paper to help you spot any drawing errors as you go along. :3

I'll critique and jug you work if you check out my stuff. http://bigjaa.deviantart.com Yours is good, nice line work, but it seems you spent more time on the left eye then the right eye. Also around the collar could be lifted up as well as the nose. Could use a little more shadow to give it a more 3 point prospective. Right now it looks flat. over all I give you a B+. Also is this for a drawing class such as Drawing 1 or a life drawing class?

^^^ thank you <3 ^^ it actually is completed :/ thank you for your critique ^actually its from a mandatory eighth grade art class. i drew it when i was 13. it was just an assignment that our teacher gave us. we had to do it using the thing where you draw a grid on the paper and then have a reference sheet and draw a grid on that paper and work by squares. i didn't really do that and if i did it probably would have turned out more symmetrical and things. i really like your art i just think the lines are a little messy and you should work on cleaning them up a bit

The line working being messy is meant to be like that. Since I do those drawing in a fast pace under 15 mins for any one the ones that looks messy. I call them "Quick Sketches (2013- present) " It is a on going series I'm doing.
