The title says it. Like the other thread, but more locally focused. This site is a little convoluted, so this might make it easier.

So I'll start. Obviously the site is lacking a lot of options, especially if you like the more obscure stuff. Just assume the more... interesting it is,the more likely I'll sit down and watch it. I'm 28, and work in the computer field. I'm open to most things, pretty much all kinds of music and I'll try any anime if you've got a good suggestion. I'll try anything once. I've been to Japan once, and planning on going back again. I'm here because I want to meet someone with similar interests. I think it'll be a lot better to meet someone on here with similar hobbies and get to like them, rather than meeting someone cute and hoping they have similar hobbies (only to find out they don't!). I've done a few cosplay (doing some Game of Thrones right now), worked some conventions, and do the renfaire thing too. My current MMO is Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (such story), though I play all kinds of games. I play some Magic the Gathering, but don't let that fool you - I did MMA (mixed martial arts, the goons call it "cagefighting"). I'm a submission artist who trained in Brazilian JiuJitsu for years and wanted to test it and myself. For me it was about the competition, not the violence, and I did well going 5-0, and won my first THREE matches without throwing a standing punch. I'm a geek in a jock body, but have always seen myself as the former. My profile is a little dated, but I'm looking for a partner who knows their stuff, because due to a heavy class load at school, I've fallen pretty behind on the anime. Right now, I'm getting ready to head to the Electric Forest Festival, a place where you can be you. Seriously,this is the place for people to express themselves in whatever for they feel.
