Hello All, not used to this, bear with me...

I've always wanted to meet more people who were into anime and cons and stuff. Make friends, maybe find someone special with similar interests, etc... For some reason I just now thought, hey, maybe I'll google "anime meet people", and viola, here I am. So a little about my anime interests: I've been into anime since I was about 14 and am into mostly romance/comedy animes. I've only been to 2 cons before, both were Yaoi-con in San Francisco these past 2 years, but I want to start saving up money so I can go to cons regularly throughout the year. I also want to cosplay. Some cosplays I want to try are lady Hawke from Dragon Age 2, Fem Shepard from Mass Effect, and Bayonetta. I know, those arent animes, but they seem like they'd be really fun to do. :) The only cosplay I've ever done before was Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket one year for Halloween, and if you count comic book characters, Zatanna from the Justice League, also for Halloween. So that pretty much sums it up. :)

Oh, sorry to hear that. But hey, with some solid planning the trip wouldnt be out of the question. If its a long trip then just try to convince some people to go with you. It'll make it easier :)

Hi there just thought I would say hi I found this place for the same reason I have no friends that like anime and other such things like that so finding a place to meet, chat etc. with others who like it is awesome for me oops little bit of ranting , anyways, hello and I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for :).

Thanks. Sorry to hear you dont have more friends with similar interests. If you're in college, you might want to check to see if the college has some kind of anime club. I dont know about most schools, but I know my school has one, so I'm sure there are other schools that have formed some kind of anime club.

Hello shinobiinu, nice to meet you too. And YES. YES IT IS, haha. I see on your profile your 17, unfortunately you have to be 18 or older to go, but you should seriously check it out once you are able to! So much fun, bishounen EVERYWHERE, lol.
