Hi, I go by Rena. I'm in college double majoring, but my main focus is fashion design and costuming. I like cosplaying (mostly for cons) when I can or working with Lolita fashion. I enjoy cooking, drawing, and writing as well. My music tastes are mostly Vocaloid, rock, pop, or game soundtracks. For games, I like RP/MMORPGs, fighters (Guilty Gear mostly, not too awesome but like it), and DDR. Wondering if I can make friends or otherwise on here, so that's why I'm here. ^^

I made one lolita outfit, but been busy because of college and don't have funds for making a new one since I outgrew the one I did have. Can't really buy from brand either because I'm more curvy and larger sized than the targeted Japanese female market to where even shirring won't work, so I end up looking at off-brand which is still fairly pricey, but I can get something that fits for the amount of money I'd be spending or make my own based on references.

Sewing takes a while to get good at and to understand well. Cooking is just a matter of experimenting and trying different recipes. I try different flavorings (mixing herbs or spices and maybe olive oil and lemon juice, kinda Mediterranean tastes to it) for chicken breasts most of the time because that's the simplest method, then either have it chopped up in bite sized pieces and sautee them in a skillet till they are finished or attempted to do a baked version which I'm still learning to do. Otherwise I'm mostly baking cakes, brownies, or other sweets. ^^; I also like a lot of pastas and different stuff with potatoes.
