I'm just thinking the Japanese love for squid and octopi carries over too far. It was overbearing at first. Any movie that sounded remotely interesting had tentacles in them at some point it seemed. Now it's just comical and I can't help but say, "release the kraken!"

Why not instead "Release the takuyaki"? I can understand as seafood is one of japan's major economic structures. But yeah, life is much more than tentacles, although I loved the story of Shinryaku! Ika Musume, which circulates around a squid girl. Very funny and kawaii, and teaches the value of the ocean. (Or at least I think it does...) *Ahem* Completely unrelated topic post I made...

Bananas are food, don't waste them as a "toy". That's what adult stores have stock of, so you won't be wasting bananas...
