I personally think shaming sexists jokes to be a very necessary part of society. Why? Why is it ridiculous to act like that to a joke? I've seen people react in serious ways to when Michael Richards went all racist at the Laugh Factory and I think they're correct. Should they not have been upset that he's yelling about lynching n- because he's a known comedian?

Also, why wouldn't I respond seriously to a thread in the serious talk sub-forum? You might have posted a picture that had a portion of a comedian's skit on it which is a joke I get it, but as it is the serious talk sub-forum, I can only assume that it's also a serious stance in support of the, "well you have racy photos." argument that showed up. So I responded seriously. In the serious talk section.

Because I don't think women having sex is bad. Now why do you think slut-shaming is good?

Also I suppose to make it more appropriate in terms of the original topic of this thread. I don't think, in any way, does what someone wear or don't mean they're "asking for it".

Not even on topic. You two could make a new thread or message each other. Slut shaming is not needed, buy it's going to happen. Dress a certain way and one can only assume you want a certain type of attention. Clothing is not just what one deems to look nice, but it's also a status. Wear a business suit? I'm going to assume you're not just going out on the town. Wear a revealing outfit? I'm assuming you're not going to an upscale kind of place. Could I be wrong? Yup. But, there's a reason why people make assumptions. Do something a certain way and chances are that you're like the majority who act or dress as such. We can call ourselves special snow flakes all we want. Wear what you want, but don't expect to be treated like a princess if you're dressing like a whore.
