I didn't pour rage onto the topic. I pointed out hypocrisy. If you have a problem with me pointing that out, then so be it. I'm not some stupid petulant child. I am not rageful.

Ah, a pissing contest? Let's digress from battle of the egos for a moment, shall we?
Darkhorse, you remind me of someone. However, I shall refrain from derailing the topic further. Forgiveness is a hard thing. One can not hold a grudge or hold the past over another's head and then there's the need of ego... Forgiveness requires a lot of inner strength. Sure, you'll never forget, but you can move on. If I forgive, I will not remind the other of the past. It's a live and learn kind of thing. I believe most are to selfish to truly forgive. I mean, one has to have sort of compassion for those who wronged them and that just screams being weak and or injustice for some. But, don't take forgiveness as meaning there should be no punishment or price to pay. There are consequences, but I believe if the one who has wronged you is truly remorseful, they then are worthy of forgiveness. Really, this topic could go on and on because as simple as it is to say "I forgive you.", there are so many variables involved in truly meaning it.

Harboring ill will is a poison that will eat you from the inside out. When it fuels revenge it can sometimes transmogrify one into what they sought to harm or worse. Anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, the dark side are these....
