seeing if anyone knows about space/physics

No Mav-san... You need to think denser! Denser! DENSER! That's right! Liquids! Solids! And stuff more solid than solids! (I have no idea what the hell that would be.) In all honesty I was just talking about an increase in density at the same temp. But when speaking about gasses you are most certainly on the ball with the relation between density and temp. At least you understand plain English. Why can't everyone know what the hell they're talking about like Maverick?

anyone heard of the double slit experiment? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfPeprQ7oGc studying the behaviour of matter, they fired electron beams through one slit and onto a wall like shining a torch through a hole. then it gets weird when they fired the beam of electrons through 2 slits onto a wall, the behaviour of the matter changes into a wave like pattern instead. even firing one at a time so the electron wont interfere with each other didn't change the results. then it gets weirder when they set up a measuring device so they can observe it close up. but whaaaaa? When they observed the electrons, they acted as particles. However, when the no equipment was used to observe the electrons, they acted as waves and particles simultaneously. the behavoir of matter changes when it is observed.

A classic and really cool. Particles make great politicians.

Not at all. You knew what you were saying. I was speaking in generalized terms and so when you corrected me, you were... well... correct. Even when I'm talking about the speed of sound in liquids and solids, it's more an issue of compressibility than density. But elasticity and compressibility often go over the heads of most people leaving me to explain things as density. That's why I said it's nice to be able to chat with someone who actually knows the grave, dire, earth-shattering implications of what they're speaking of Mav-san. p.s. I'm stealing the Buzz Lightyear pic...

For space I think laser then quantum communications will come along before too long. They did 600Mbit moon orbit to Earth's surface on laser. With a 1300ms ping not quite ready for CoD matches but you can stream 30 HDTV channels. https://youtu.be/ZIQVXjg8yZ4 @devil - I have seen that before too. With quantum we still have no idea how far it can go. There have been advances in making entangled quantum particles more reliably. They are going to do experiments from the ground to the ISS then probes until it stops working I guess. http://www.universetoday.com/101408/spooky-experiment-on-iss-could-pioneer-new-quantum-communications-network/

I like space, but I'm no expert. If you're interested I can say that the All About Space magazine series is quite interesting (but I'm way behind on my reading ^ ^;)

yeah I heard that to, just physics in general break down around bodies like that, well not defy physics but like the Neutron star I hear the magnetic pull on that would shred anything close to it like how close we are to the sun, does anyone know about quantum entanglement ? I heard some good theory's on it, and it sounds like if we understand it better there would be instant holo's and they say even teleporting (well copying) they said it would only reconstruct you off of a exact copy of your atoms from a different location,
