I'm not a Game Developer per say but I am a software/Web developer. I work with mostly C# (Asp.net) and JavaScript but I'm fairly versed in a lot of other languages. Feel free to ask me any programming/scripting questions :).

I'm a developer myself. I was stuck with business applications so using game engines is a bit new for me. I did make small games before but I only used extremely simple or in-house game engines. Now, I'm planning to tap Unity, UNreal or JMonkey. XD

Haha the only game dev tools I've ever used were wwise and unity and then I was only building a sound engine :p

I used to play around with XNA when that was a thing (Though MonoGame nearly has a full clone of it now.) But yeah for my day job I mostly work with mapping engines doing spatial data visualisation / analytics.

I am a C and Perl programmer who aspires to work in game design using C because of its portability, especially considering that I can target IRIX and other UNIXes easier. Not worked on any games yet, but I have plans. I hand code mostly, I don't use IDEs or frameworks due to licensing and portability restrictions.
