My only question would be what type of anime do you like? Because things like candycandy existed back then but it was the adventures of a little girl that lived with her grandpa in the mountains. Not eveeryones cup o tea

I really enjoyed Gunbuster and the first two Ova's for Area 88 so I'm going to have to go with Shonen anime

I've heard of Saint Seiya I haven't seen it yet though what's it about.

My mom said she watched stuff like Dr. Slump, Urusei Yatsura, and Touch. I think those are all 80's anime. Rose of Versailles is older(70's?), but I'm tempted to watch it for the feminism.
