equivalent to attending what used to be a all girls school for a boy

Depends on the society, culture and social status of the individuals in question. An all girls school back when I was in middle school turned into a mixed school. 3 girls to 1 guy ratio. The disaster happened during the first term only. After that the girls pretty much lost interest in the guys. Of course some were still gfbf, but it stopped being interesting for them. The highschool section though didn't change, most girls had brothers/bf/ male friends so seeing boys around was nothing to be bothered by it. So the being only one guy in an all girls school, sure you will get a gf and laid easier than in a mixed school. You are a novelty, once that's over with you are just general population. Harem possibility though nope ... girls don't like sharing ... normally. Actually when you are a foreigner and you arrive in small towns or even some communities you become superpopular because you are again a novelty. But it wears down fast so use it however you want as fast as you can. Oh yeah biggest down side ... gossip. One mistake and everyone will know abt it, and the more it passes the bigger it gets.

I'd think there would be a lot of drama, like boundbyluck says, girls don't like sharing... but that's only if you're really their type or you're attractive/charming. If you're really unattractive and not charming/friendly, they'd probably be more likely to bully, make you feel isolated, ignore you, or treat you normal, than to go all harem mode on you. School isn't the only place they can see boys, so they're not gonna be desperate. Plus there may also be a bit more lesbians who have no interest in or dislike men.
