What does a girl look for in a guy?

While it's likely there will be some similarities, I think many different women will be looking for different things.. If women are here, it's already likely that they want someone with similar interests to theirs which means you're already in the right place.. I know I am not REALLY answering your question and, as I'm not a woman, I am not your target audience, but I think it's more important to just be yourself and be confident in who you are. On a side note, I would like to mention that I'm not an expert, I've attracted no women from this site (though I'm not really looking to) and it is possible that I am just spewing nonsense that makes no sense.

It really does depend on the girl, because we all have different wants/needs. One thing that seems almost universal though: Even if some girls will say, "I want a hot boyfriend", that's actually rarely true, and most of those girls I see(myself included) ended up with guys who aren't their idea of attractive, often below average even, but what those guys have, is a really great personality, took the time to getting to know her and spend many days with her as a "best friend", discuss many topics, and that's how they could know they'd wanna spend the rest of their days together. You also need to know, that even if you both are really good to each other and got to know each other, it can't always 100% work. You just have to keep trying until you find someone you really "click" with. There's probably girls out there who don't care about all that, but they'd most likely not be into committed relationships, or just want a "quickie". If a guy just outright flirts with me out of nowhere when I don't even know him, I will pretty much label him as a player or creep. I'd think if a girl fell for that, she'd have to be either desperate or loose. And this is coming from someone who's into polyamory.

I'm not a girl, but I can make a pretty convincing female voice, so I'll voice my opinion here lol. I feel like a girl looks something she likes. Bam. 100% accuracy. You're welcome! Call me guru-senpai No but in reality, as Koh says, it's all dependent. I feel like most girls really do look for personality and that the media portrays nice people getting friendzoned. Even if it exists, the friendzone isn't that bad. Like Mikorin, I'm also no expert, but I've grown up with an older sister and 4 older female cousins, so I have somewhat of a clue.

Yes, a true friendzone is really good actually. Because she did not break up with you for being a jerk or anything, meaning you didn't actually do anything wrong. She just felt it was better to stay friends, or is not ready for a relationship. At least, that was the case with me. If I really didn't like them, I'd not even be friends with them. I don't friendzone just to "be nice", if I say it, I mean it.
