Tinder, CMB, and the other free dating things

I've been using tinder to find other anime / cosplay enthusiasts for possible dating. Some of my friends just hate tinder, others just tell me to just Coffee Meets Bagel, and I have not tried others. Honestly, I'm probably more comfortable with meeting people at AX / PMX / whatever, but I'm open to other stuff (Definitely MaiOtaku, since I've at least found some good friends).Have any of you found the aforementioned methods effective?

Isn't tinder more of a "find sex partners nearby" kind of app? (Its not available near me so no real clue what its good for)

No....i've been on a bunch of them.... MaiOtaku is much more comfortable.. still testing Coffee Meets bagel but their new android app keeps crashing on my phone half the time

boundbyluck, I think it started out that way. Most of the non-bots that I've matched up with have been interesting to talk with most of the time. General kantmoo, I agree. My only problem with this site so far is that a lot of people seemed to abandon it after x amount of time.
