Ever felt your dreams were just crushed by stupid people?

Weirdly, it was my old anime heads that received the best popularity and good reviews... It is my newer Mesh anime heads that receive the most negative reviews(because they don't blink and stuff, they just look good... like Doll heads).

SL 2.0 won't change people... i still think you should keep your stuff up.

Well, I've somewhat calmed down, so I've decided, I will keep my main in-world store up... but I'm keeping my Marketplace listings deactivated so I won't have to deal with stupid reviews.

Cool. I would not sweat the reviews too much myself. People bot-mod stuff up and down, and cheat the system all the time. I know people that roam market for hours and hours like a mall lol. I prefer in world shops.

times have changed.... since it cost allot to maintain land. A lot of sl has shifted to using the marketplace....even if it's just to search for something then tp to the in-store world. unless you are well known you could be losing out on allot of potential sales. have seen allot of companies i use to know go off grid these cause they can't maintain it or it's just easier for them. before i deactivated everything 90% of my sales were from the marketplace. if your doing it for fun then it's ok but if you really want to attempt to make even a little something out of it should keep them up reguardless of what others say.. smart people will read the reviews and know that it's just stupid people.

That's true... I have something that keeps track of sales locations, and am aware that nearly 50% of my sales come from the Marketplace. I think I'm willing to just put up free stuff on the Marketplace, since they'd have to be an idiot to rate 1-star on free items. ...If I am to move out, however, I may need to suck it in eventually in order to make enough to live. Now is NOT the time, though.

There's always gonna be people that prefer taking the easy and cheap way out regardless of repercussions those actions may have on others. That's kind of inherent to the artistic field.
