Overrated anime?

So anyone of ya in that situation where a certain show is praised for being art and what not, but when you watch it, you see nothing special about it.

Yep: SAO, Naruto, One Piece, Madoka Magica (or whatever it is), Lucky Star, AOT, HSotD, High School DxD, Ouran (I ain't typin' all that crap), RWBY, Black Butler, Death Note, Code Geass... Probably 6-8 more I haven't listed yet.

The big three are certainly overrated, but I think Naruto is still good but it just went on too long. I personally enjoyed AOT, I think it's the titans idk, lol. SAO was very inconsistent with character development. HSotD and DxD were just normal harem/fanservice anime so to me it's a whatever thing. I mean I've seen quite a few hype anime and the only one that actually got a strong reaction from me was Boku no Pico but we all know to stay away from that one, lol.

Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Gundam, SAO, HSoTD, any "ecchi/harem//fanservice/moe-girls" of the season anime. The last 3 are more of a case of offending/peeving me, so it may be biased. I think certain anime like AOT, Kuroshitsuji, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, and Code Geass have well-deserved popularity. Then there's too many underrated anime too.

Can't agree with Death Note. It's unique and well written. HSoTD, despite being an ecchi, at least has a cool story to it, and that's 80% of what I care about. Most ecchi just flip pantyshots all over the place and expect great reviews in return.

HSoTD wouldn't be so bad if it didn't have the fanservice, but I think most of all I couldn't stand the orange-haired girl... she got on my nerves so badly, I couldn't even endure finishing it. >.< Also agree that Death Note was good. Psychological/thriller anime is pretty rare.
