Anyone here use Kakaotalk? It's a free messaging app for smartphones. Pretty popular in Korea. Think of it like the Korean equivalent of the Japanese app Line If you do use Kakao, add me @ donnierye Sometimes I like to lounge around in other parts of the house, away from my computer.

There are tons of messaging apps and they vary depending on region. Most people I know of use WhatsApp very popular messenging app for people to communicate with non US people.

Used it extensively in Korea, tried uploading a few years ago it to stay in touch with friends there but the app said it wouldn't work in the US. If you're using it now maybe that changed.

@nikita_13 Yeah I use it all the time and I'm in the US. Right now I use it to talk to my mom, she's Korean so she likes using it to talk to her family that's still over there. I use it to talk to some Korean friends I've made for language exchange. Just figured I'd ask here too.

I use that app and wechat.
