There are age limits because the exception isn't the norm. Most children ages 12 and lower shouldn't play M rated games or watch R-rated movies, Or MA anime, But their are exceptions, The more rare intelligent children that were taught that it's just a show and should not be taken seriously.
Why else have a rating restriction other then that specific reason I ask you?

It's not a conversation about intelligence.Letting watch kids horror or psycho animes will affect their nurturing. They will rise as harsh and cruel as well.

Dude, I was young when I watched pretty dark stuff, But I was smart enough not to see it as real, Because it wasn't. Certainly that can affect most kids psychologically, If 1. They have bad parenting or 2. They aren't able to see that it's just a show.
Just because a kid watch's something harsh doesn't mean they will be affected by it, When I was 11 I playing avp, A game where you rip out spines and skulls on a normal basis. Yet I have the strongest morals and sympathy for others then anyone I know. And I am certain there are other kids like me in that level of understanding, Probably some even younger, as I was pretty naive as a kid.
So yes it is a conversation of intelligence, Since intellect affects one's understanding of situations. Now do I believe most kids should be seeing stuff like that at a young age? Hell Freaking No. Will I let my kids see something like that at the ages I did? Not unless they show me they have the maturity and level of understanding to know it is not real and shouldn't be treated as such.

Kids will rise as harsh and cruel because of horror? That isnt true most of the kids that grew up to be killers and child molesters never recieved any type of affection when they were young. Horror does not encourage people to go out and kill. if that were the case it wouldnt be a thing

Yes Leo, tell us how allowing ALL YOUR CHILDREN to watch 16+/M/R/X/NC-17 anime, movies or games has affected them. There are no numbers that can count all of Leo's children! XD

@hikwiki, Now your making fun of my way of speech, I see how it is. Would you prefer for me to speak in a more sophisticated manner. *sigh* Very well believe what you wish, I must be a malevolent and sadistic serial killer in the making, Oh my parents would be so ashamed, Someone who is so much more morally correct come exorcise me of my demons!
No, I wouldn't let them watch something I didn't think they were ready for, But with your obvious poor attempts at making your point, I'll just save myself some time and stop arguing here, It's clear you don't have the open minded thought patterns to see someone else's perspective, Your probably the type that believes that kids who play violent video games become murderers other then the real reason which is bad parenting. Now have a nice day, This vampire is out.
@nikita, Man I must be some pimp with so many children at this age. I already have like 13 by now(Crickets in the background).
