Just now decided to get Samurai Champloo a chance after a video

4 episode in and loving this series I regret not watching it sooner

If you want to give another action anime a shot, I recommend Sword of the Stranger. It's actually a movie, so you don't have to deal with watching 12-24 episodes but rather just an hour and a half or two. It's my absolute favorite animated film with great animation imo. Doesn't have that cliche "move so fast that the guy disappears into thin air and appears behind the other guy" type stuff. Here is the final fight. I love Samurai Champloo. Weirdly, I haven't finished it yet. I'm somewhere halfway or near the end, I think. It's definitely one of those anime that I recommend to anyone, regardless of what they like in anime. It's just so entertaining even if you don't like action stuff. I only know one friend who didn't like it, and she said it was because she didn't like Fu or Mugen. Basically, she didn't even give it a chance after seeing them.
