which is the lesser of two evils?

What do you do when the person you love the most will be hurt by what you really want to say? And it hurts not to say it. The man I love is making the worst decision of his life. And because of that decision, I am not going to be allowed to even email him.

Well it depends on the circumstance and severity of what the consequences are. If he is about to make the worst decision of his life then Obviously tell him the truth. If its little things that don't matter, then it's up for debate, But if it can ruin his life, Then would you rather have him suffer from that choice knowing you could stop it? Ask yourself that. I'm not going to tell you what's right or wrong, Because that's up to you. Me, personally, Honesty is one of the most important things in a relationship, Certainly the truth can hurt, But it only hurts if there is a problem that needs fixing.

Let me say that he left his abusive wife and now she is controling him again. She cheated,lied, and beat him. I cant even call, email, or text him. Im worried!

What are you afraid of telling him, That he should stay away from her? If so then I'd say yes, tell him. I've known people in this circumstance, It never ends well.

It sounds like both of you will be hurt regardless of telling him what you have to say or not; you emotionally and him physically and emotionally. If you can find a way to contact him, say what feel you must, otherwise the regret you'll carry will wear at you.
