Which is more important, Personality or Looks?

They are both important. You want a person that has a good personality but physical attraction is also needed. What people find attractive differs from person to person. Same with personalities.

Wait let me put on my philosophizen goatee. Generally speaking they're both important. Neither is more important than the other. Can't say I've got much experience on the subject, but from what I've observed most people start a relationship based on physical attraction, and stay in it or leave based on personality compatibility

Personality. I have met some really hot guys out there who had crappy personalities. I hated it more when they faked interest in me so to pick on me (I really don't get what is funny about that), Happily I made them look bad. "Really you like me. well I am going to be out front in a bikini to go to the pool, care to join me?" I would say. They would be across the street waiting and chuckling with friends. I show up behind them in my normal clothes and dump water on them then walk off. They get pissed then I have to run.

For me, a woman has to cross a certain threshold of attractiveness. From there, I weigh it against personality. I know a girl who has an amazing personality but the physical part just isn't there for me.

Personality is what I'll always go for by a country mile. I don't hold a good physical appearance in high regard as I do see it mostly as a bonus - although while personality is more important, I do have my preferences when it comes to a girl's appearance. They don't need to be ecchi anime girl level of pretty (Although I wouldn't mind c:), all it takes for them to be on my preference list is to be well-groomed, have a sweet smile with a healthy, natural build (not necessarily skinny or fit, just healthy) so if I was to come across two girls who really like me with similar personalities but I find one of the girls attractive while the other girl doesn't fall into my preference criteria, chances are I'm going to go for the prettier girl in that scenario. Sure it sounds shallow but I would imagine that would be the case with pretty much everyone if they were in that kind of situation.
